idewalk Buddy was invented as I was walking through downtown Chicago going between meetings. As I was checking email, my Facebook feed and text messages, I almost ran into a garbage can on the street. As I looked up, I realized many people were walking around doing the same thing. Then I thought, why not use the rear camera to give me a heads up view of the sidewalk in front of me...and that's how Sidewalk Buddy was born.

There wasn't any similar Android apps that allowed a clear separation of the camera view while allowing you to use it over any app you might be using. We made it adjustable and movable as well as zoom control. Recently a paid upgrade gives you the ability to take photos or videos on the go while using other apps and Sidewalk Buddy combined.
